These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AudienceRated (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What AudienceRated Does

AudienceRated lets people rate and review movies. To keep reviews honest, we verify that reviewers actually booked a ticket for the movie they're reviewing before their review is published.

Your Account

You sign in using Google. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens under it. You must provide accurate information and not impersonate anyone else.

Reviews and Content

• You agree that any review or rating you submit is your own honest opinion based on a movie you actually watched.
• You will not post content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, or otherwise unlawful.
• You retain ownership of the content you submit, but you grant AudienceRated a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use it in connection with operating and promoting the Service.
• We may remove any content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful.

Booking Verification

If you choose to connect your Gmail account, we use it only to check for movie ticket booking confirmation emails, solely to verify that a review is attached to a real booking. This is optional, and you can disconnect it at any time.

Acceptable Use

• You will not use the Service to submit fake, paid, or manipulated reviews.
• You will not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the Service.
• You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Disclaimers

Reviews and ratings on AudienceRated reflect the personal opinions of individual users and do not represent the views of AudienceRated. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available, accurate, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AudienceRated will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
